Karamoja Women Advocacy for Transformation is a legally registered National Women Rights organization with Ministry of internal affairs and Uganda National Registration Bureau with registration number INDR152714217NB advancing equity for women and vulnearble people through advocacy in Gender equality and economic empowerment, Food Security and Livelihoods, peace building initiatives, emergency response, GBV programming and Education among the most vulnerable and minority communities in Karamoja region in Uganda and the cross border communities.

KWT staff work as a team on the base of mutual respect and accountability, consultations and collaboration. In our work we seek to understand the views and ideas of others, as well as to reorganize the positive contributions of each person, so as to build strong interpersonal relationship.
Accountability And Transparency
Recognizing this need, KWVT has committed itself to transparency and accountability not only towards donors, but also towards the people and communities we works in. This has enabled us to evaluate our actual performance allowing for continuous improvements in our work.
We also embrace accountability to the organization, financial management and have systems in place to ensure employees are held accountable when they fail to meet up to the demands of their job, in the same way they are recognized when they do good work. This is done though setting clear and measurable goals/expectations as well as measuring and reviewing results.

Our staffs adhere to a standard of reason able care whilst they perform any act that could potentially cause harm to beneficiaries. Our principle of duty of care is that you have an obligation to avoid acts or omissions, which could be reasonably foreseen to injure or harm beneficiaries through anticipating risks and mitigating them.
